The Art Nouveau Series Stud Buttons - Acanthus, Magnolia, and Rose are inspired by wall and ceiling tiles at the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau, designed by the Catalan architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. Recinte Modernista is an extraordinary complex of buildings that make up an Art Nouveau medical campus in the city of Barcelona in Spain where we found inspiration for this wonderful collection of forms. To use the buttons, simply remove the leather backing, slip the button shaft in between the stitches of the knitwear / crochetwear and then pop the leather backing on the shaft on the wrong side of your material.
